Right after Dahab, the next weekend we planned on exploring the country capital Cairo, We had one spare day and that is when decided to go on to take one of the most adventurous and tiring trips to Faiyum Faiyum is a small city situated in the middle of the desert about 100 km from Cairo city. LUXOR

So let's begin with the actual thing which you are looking for, so the first city I visited other than Suez was Luxor, probably the hottest place in Egypt and also a historical one. basically, we took a bus, there are trains and also flights to Luxor from Cairo. So we started our journey to Luxor from Suez in a bus, that is the only way of transport from Suez to Luxor, It was about 8 p.m when we left the Suez bus stand and we reached Luxor at about 8 a.m that is the bus took 12 hours to cover a distance of 1000 and odd km. NOT BAD!! We then moved on to our hotel rooms and even though it wasn't a 5 star or 3-star hotel, the customer service was excellent and the owner seemed to be like a big fan of BOB MARLEY. SHARM EL SHEIKH

With most of the cities covered, it would be an offense if we left out the costliest, richest and the royal city of Egypt, yes none other than Sharm el-sheik. The main attraction of this city is that the great Mountain named South Sinai is situated here. Sharm el sheik also allows the tourists to ascend the Mount Sinai, so if you are a fan of hiking, you definitely shouldn't miss this place Apart from that, there is St.Catherines Monastery which is majestic in its own way.
