Transportation in Egypt


Talking about transportation in Egypt, it's pretty convenient, Let's start with the Airports

FLIGHTS

There are 4 main Airports out of which Cairo international airport is the busiest and an important one

1- Cairo International Airport
2-Luxor International Airport
3-Sharm el-sheik Airport
4-Alexandria Airport



National Airlines like EgyptAir and Nile Air connect these cities using their regular flights.

TRAINS
They have Trains from Cairo to six different locations which don't include Dahab. talking about the coaches, they have second sitting,  and mostly AC sitting coaches, and they are very well maintained. They also have Special AC sleeper trains that run only through Alexandria-Cairo-Luxor-Aswan.

BUSSES

The country offers AC buses to travel between major cities and the fares are affordable. But apart from Cairo, they don't have buses within the city, all the buses are intercity.



                                    


TAXIS

Taxis are the most reliable and commonly used mode of transport as it offers comfort and saves time, other than Egypt and are the only source of public transportation in cities other than Cairo, Sharm el Sheikh and Alexandria, in the above-mentioned cities, uber offers services, so its the safest and easiest way for a foreigner to get along with the city.




TRAMS

Trams can only be found in Alexandria and a tram journey is a must, the tram route is parallel to the seashore, so you can enjoy both the urban and rustic beauty of nature.
